The History of Taunton in the County of Somerset originally written by the Late Joshua Toulmin, a new edition greatly enlarged and brought down to the present time by James Savage published in Taunton and printed for John Poole et al 1822.
Large 8vo sized full leather binding over boards with raised bands to the spine and red leather label and gilt lettering , marks and possibly a coating on the leather , binding in solid condition. marble end papers and paste downs, end paper, half title + frontispiece + title page, some old water stains but a good readable copy and solid book. xxiv + 608pp - loose pencil notes on paper to the rear (book comes from the library of Anne Sutton although no book plates are present in this volume, the majority of hte pages are clean and in good order,
