No Reserve!!!

A nice cabinet stereoview of Yosemite Valley from Inspiration point attributed to Hazeltine circa 1860s.

The view is titled on the front as Yosemite Valley, from Inspiration Point and it is from the Yosemite Valley California titled series.

The image shows some foreground tree details with waterfalls and mountains in the background.

The stereo effect between the foreground trees and background is good, but the mountains in the background lack detail..

This stereoview was likely photographed by pioneer California photographer Martin Mason Hazeltine who started working out of Yosemite in the 1850s and who I have seen associated with the Yosemite Valley series and this view is possibly a reissue of a Hazeltine negative by Moulton. Additionally I believe this view was issued by Dodge, Collier and Perkins whose signature was the interesting design on the back of the card.

I have decided to sell all my Yosemite views at no reserve, please save my userid if you are interested!!!!

I will combine shipping with any of my other stereoview auctions AND I will ship internationally

I am starting to sell my large collection of Stereoviews (10k left) again after a 2year hiatus. Please stay tuned!!!
