This auction features a vintage Tonka Toys pressed steel  Wrecker Truck Work Vehicle, from the Mini-Tonka Series, #68, from the early-1960's.  All steel Tow Truck is the 9 1/2" long version, and in nice "lightly played with" condition. This is the harder to find 1963 first release version of the Mini-Tonka Wrecker, with the embossed grille. The metal grill was first used the following year, in 1964.

Roadside Assistance Vehicle is in very nice overall condition, with just a couple small scratches and light playwear. Just a touch of dulling on the front bumper. Paint has strong cream white color.  Controls work. All original. Has the hard rubber tires and white hubs.   Overall, in very nice displayable condition, with bright colors, good glass. It displays well and should make a great addition to your vintage pressed steel "Tow Truck" or Mini Tonka steel toy work truck collection.
