This is a mid grade item. It will have enough minor defects that it is in clearly worse condition than a brand new freshly published comic, magazine, or book. Allowed defects for this grade include: a spine split of less than half an inch, minor water spotting or other residue, impacted corners, and an accumulation or spine stresses that may break color. An item could be assigned this grade due to either an accumulation of minor defects or one or two moderate defects.
Cover by Dan DeCarlo & Rudy Lapick. Stories by Frank Doyle and Joe Edwards. Art by Harry Lucey, Joe Edwards, Marty Epp and unknown. Archie and his friends swap anecdotes about how, whenever someone tells them not to let something happen (like "mind you don't trip"), it happens. Veronica proves them right by constantly jinxing Archie with warnings that come true in "Don't Read This!" Plus: Betty claims that some mysterious force keeps her from seeing Archie in "The Last Word"; Mr. Lodge thinks he'll be better off with Dilton hanging around the house rather than Archie, until Dilton's infallible intelligence gets on his nerves in "Archie Come Home"; Li'l Jinx in the 1-pager "Sore Loser!" by Joe Edwards; and Archie bothers his dad in the garage and causes him to hurt his finger in "Daddy's Boy"! 32 pages, full color.
