Antique Emile Dropsy (1848-1923) bronze religious plaque - French - signed

I am looking to sell an original silvered bronze (I believe) religious plaque by Émile Dropsy (1848-1923), signed E. Dropsy as photographed. Plaque is mounted on a brass foldable stand and is just being sold as seen. Plaque has wear to the silver plate exposing the base metal from polishing, and the stand has age tarnishing as shown. Stand may be a little bent, but I am sure this could be easily remedied. A nice thing, authentic, old and collectable.

Émile Dropsy (1848-1923) Son and grandson of a marble worker, abandoned the trade of his ancestors, and did his apprenticeship as a metal engraver with Lemoine, based in Paris quai Jemmapes, while taking drawing lessons. Having become an excellent engraver, he decided to start his own business.

Frame measures approx. 9 ½” in height and 6 ½” in width, plaque 6” by 4 ½”

Weighs 455g unpacked.

This is just basically being sold as you see it in the photos, the photos show the exact condition better than I can explain.

Please note that any international postage will be through eBay global shipping and I have no control over these costs, please note this prior to bidding.
