Created in the early 20th century, the exceptionally executed Czech porcelain basket, in a reddish orange molten ground, richly detailed vibrant hand painted floral motifs with scattered bright hues and hints of lemon, lime, lavender, cobalt, and sky blue finish; both handle and basket interior are contrasted by a stark black. This item is in very good condition at nearly 100 years old, it has only a few very minor scuffs (white marks where paint has worn). Please examine photos closely, as they are part of the complete description for this listing. The delightful design and colors of this piece creates its own statement. Signed; the oval base underside with beautifully aged craquelure, stamped and marked numbering, and stamped with the importers Coronet trademark, which is a stamp of a crown inside a laurel wreath.
