In 1954, the population of the United States was around 161 million people. In 1954, the famous Philadelphia Mint produced just over 114 million Roosevelt silver dimes. The dimes listed here is one of them.

It's a nice-looking dime after 70 years and has an even nicer price. The melt value alone of a Roosevelt dime the last time I checked was $2.07.

So, this dime is a very good deal, and it would make a terrific album coin, to say the least.
