Simple Minds - New Gold Dream (81-82-83-84)

A&M SP-6-4928, 1983 Limited Edition Translucent Gold w/ Purple Marbling

This album rates as Ex, there are some very minor blemishes on the label around the spindle hole, but other than that the labels are very clean.  I assume there must be some very light scratches or handling marks, because this is a used album, but I looked at the album under a decent light and couldn't find anything.  I suspect that is because of the marbling and gold translucence.  In any case, I don't think there are any markings or scratches on this album that would affect the quality of play.  The album has been cleaned but not tested.

The cover rates as EX, the edges and spine are in great condition, and I couldn't find any creases or ring wear.

The inner sleeve rates as VG, one of the lower corners was folded, there is a 3" tear in the bottom edge and some sticker residue.

I suspect this album was originally bought with the intent to be a collector's item, then mostly left alone.  It really seems to be in that good of a condition.
