George Barker (1844-1894) had an extensive catalog of views by the late1860s having moved to Niagara Falls in the early 1860s.He worked for a short time with Platt D. Babbitt whose influence can be seen in much of Barker’s vision. Often his views replicate earlier views by Babbitt.During his 30 plus years of working, he established himself as the premier photographer of Niagara Falls.
