Charming Early 20th Century Oil Painting 

Harbour at Dusk- Possibly Antwerp

A really great work with impasto and beautiful colours. This artist painted in and around Antwerp for a number of years- this may be a painting of the harbour there? In reality the painting is a little darker than some photos suggest.

Age- c1900
 

Size- 9.75 by 13.5 inches approx including frame, panel 7.5 by 11 inches approx
 

Medium- Oils on canvas laid to panel


Frame- Later wooden frame, some knocks and losses offered free with the painting.
 

Condition- Generally good, we would be happy to hang this one as found. Some light varnish browning and a little concave curvature to teh panel.  

Signature- Lower right.
