I am continuing the long process of selling off folk art, textiles, and books from three different collector estates. Due to the volume of items, my descriptions are shorter that usual, but my commitment to accurately representing everything that I sell remains. Please review all of the photos before bidding. If you have any questions about any of the items for sale, please don't hesitate to contact me and I'll be more than happy to answer in more detail directly.

This auction is for a vintage handmade folk costume shirt from eastern Europe. It came to me with other garments from the Balkans (Albania, Croatia, Macedonia), but the style also has elements of Slovak and Rusyn design so I'm not entirely sure where it originates from. Made of white cotton with beige embroidery on the front and cuffs. Embellished with decorative buttons at the collar. The shirt is in good condition overall with a few marks (see photos) and the collar was repaired/altered at the back at some point. Certainly good enough to wear. Measures 14.5" across the shoulders, 19" between the underarms, 24.5" long, and 19.5" along the top edge of the sleeve (from shoulder seam to end of cuff).
