This skinning knife is has a Stainless steel blade of 4Cr13 with a sharp edge with its strong material. Thickness of the blade can be observed by looking at the spine which is appx. 2mm thick. blade of the knife measures 4.25" inches with overall measures of 8.5 inches. This skinning knife has a splendid blade and should maintain it hardness for a long period of time. The edge has been honed by hollow grinding. its shape, size and all angles involved are outstanding.
