Old circa 1959 printed nylon 49 star parade flag. On July 3rd, 1959, a 49th star was officially added to the US flag to represent the entry within the previous 12 months of the state of Alaska. Designed with staggered rows of 7 stars. Exterior dimensions are about 17" x 12-3/4". (an easily framable size for display). All edges are machine hemmed with decorative gold fringe trim applied to three ends. Condition: Light toning, creases. (WG)
