OVATION [USED] Elite 1868-4 '89

Speaking of Ovation, the solid body model is familiar to Hartman Vintage, but the image of this electric acoustic model is still overwhelming in the world.

This time, we have received a 1989 model number ``1868'' from the USA-made Elite series, which is highly rated in the used market.

【body】
Overall weight is approximately 2.5kg. This model features a spruce body top and a thin super shallow bowl body back. As the model number indicates, the natural color is a nice amber color. There are cracks in the paint around the bridge and under the body. There are some minor signs of use such as some damage to the left side epaulet hole decoration and dents, and although it is relatively clean, it maintains a good condition that gives it the feel of an old guitar. Strap pins have been replaced.

【neck】
The neck material is 5 pieces of mahogany/maple, and the fingerboard material is rosewood. There are some dents the size of rice grains on the back of the head, but it is in relatively good condition. The tuner functions well without much variation in winding condition. There is not much wear on the frets/nut, and playability is good. Nut width 43.7mm. The preamp is equipped with the original OP-24. This is an easy-to-use electric-acoustic model with an easy-to-handle body shape and clear tone.
