Fabric is a medium light weight synthetic fabric. Most likely polyester and it has some stretch and give.  It is soft and fluid. The collar and front placket fabric are a thicker weight and are textured.

Condition
No stains, holes, or tears. A few inches of the hem came undone and are hand sewn. I show a photo of some fabric thread pulls that occur on the inside of the shirt. The threads are not broken and they do not affect the front. No pilling. Clean underarms.

What Diane Likes About This Polo Shirt
I am not sure exactly what the print is on this shirt. I have thought it looked like sailors holding hands. Or, perhaps an Asian influence. I do know that it is very unique and interesting. The red white and blue theme makes me think this was manufactured around 1976. The bicentennial celebrations inspired a lot of clothing in this color scheme. This shirt has a lot of visual interest in the texture changes, the novelty pattern and the cool pointed collar. A great piece of vintage that will bring interest from others.

"People will stare. Make it worth their while."   Harry Winston

“Men with style are great because they have a sense of self.” Lexa Doig
