Early Rudall Rose Wood Flute SN 143 INTERESTING MECHANISM

Here is a very interesting Rudall and Rose wood flute with an unusual mechanism. 

There are repairable cracks in the head and barrel. Will need a full repad.

Provenance: The Lusier Collection. Raymond Lusier was an instrument repairman and collector who acquired over his years an impressive collection of flutes. We are pleased to offer instruments from his collection for sale.

As this instrument is historically interesting, we have chosen to not do restoration work on it and leave that to the eventual owner. Instrument will Need pad and keywork to be playable.
