J. Higham 5-Key Flute HISTORIC COLLECTION

Here's a nice J. Higham 5-key flute. Will need some pad and keywork to be playable. We believe this instrument to be in the key of C in 415 Hz. The measurements from the center of the embouchure hold to the G# key is 11 inches (28 cm).

Provenance: The Historic Collection. This is from the collection of a well-known researcher and historian of woodwinds who spent a lifetime collecting rare and unique instruments. We are privileged to offer items from this collection for sale.

As this instrument is historically interesting we have chosen to not do restoration work on it and leave that to the eventual owner.
