What can heat shrink tube do?

How do i choose a heat shrink tubing size?


The first step is to make some measurements. Use a caliper or a ruler to measure the diameters of the smallest and largest parts you will be covering with the tubing. You should choose a size larger enough to slide over the largest part you need to cover. Be sure not to forget your smallest measurement! Check to make sure that the heat shrinkable tubing has a high enough shrink ratio to get a snug fit on the smallest part you wish to cover.


How to use it?


1. First choose the right size tubes, as it is 2:1 heat shrink ratio, and will shrink up to 1/2 of original diameter.


2. Wrap the cable wire with the tube, then use a heat gun heating until the wire was wrapped tightly.


3. Don't touch the tube until it becomes cool.
