ENGLAND KING HENRY VI 1430-1431 1 GROAT SILVER COIN, PCGS CERTIFIED AU-53. CALAIS MINT. Almost uncirculated, and looks choice. Beautiful cabinet toning with a touch of color. Beautiful, original, well-struck, old silver coin. Rosette-mascle issue. Obverse: Crowned facing bust within tressure of arches; Reverse: Long cross pattée; triple pellets in quarters. A mildly circulated piece with slight weakness over the portrait, but with significant luster remaining in the fields beneath a blanket of attractive red-orange patina. S-1859. See images.
