The central oval cut Fire Opal is large, measuring 8mm x 6mm x 4mm, and is extremely clear, causing flashes of firey orange as it moves and catches the light.

Fire Opal can be found in a handful of small deposits around the world, such as Guatemala in the USA, Brazil, Canada and Turkey. The most significant discovery of Fire Opal has been in Mexico, where it is regarded as the country's national gemstone. This is a high quality specimen.

There are 3 quite sizeable round cut diamond accents pavé set on either side of the Fire Opal. The diamonds also catch the light beautifully and sparkle and flash ensuring this ring will always be the star on your finger.
