This listing is for a Victorian Black outfit. I believe it is an antique mourning outfit, late 1800/early 1900s but I cannot guarantee. It is possible this is a vintage reproduction. I purchased this from an estate sale where the lady of the house had collected many vintage and antique clothes. The people running the sale did not have specific provenance for this however. I am including many pictures of the stitching, fabric, and eye hooks so you can judge for yourself as I am not an expert on antique clothing.

It is not in perfect condition - most notably there are a few small tears in the skirt, and the ribbon that goes around the waist of the top is ripped. This ribbon would need to be fixed or replaced in order for this to be wearable. There are also some small holes in the top. The waist of the skirt is fraying, and missing some of the hooks that would link it to the top. That being said, it is a fantastic outfit!

This is a very small sized outfit, the waist of the skirt measures slightly over 10" across the top, laid flat and not doubled.

The skirt does vary in length (it is longer in back), length taken in front measures 43".

underarm to underarm on the top is 17"

shoulder seam to shoulder seam is 15"

Please note, I do NOT accept returns unless I made a large mistake in the listing - please view ALL photos, check measurements, and read my entire description! Feel free to message with any questions and I will do my best to answer them! Everything I sell comes from a smoke free home, thanks for looking :)
