This is the "H. Klose Celebrated Method for the Clarinet". It is the complete method.  Simeon Bellison did the revisions.  Carl Fischer Inc. is the publisher; the copyright date is 1946. The method is divided into 2 parts.  Each part begins with a Contents Page (The Contents pages for Part I and Part II are shown in photos.)  Part I opens with Rudiments of Music and information about the clarinet, followed by exercises and studies through page 120    Part II contains more advanced material, lots of chord and interval work and varied scale exercises plus duets and literature.  This book measures 12 by 9 inches and has 293 pages.  It has a heavier stock paper cover in gray with maroon printing.  The binding is sewn and glued and the spine is black cloth. Pages are a decent quality in ivory and the music is printed in a readable size.

This book has been stored with care, flat away from sunlight.  It is an older work in Very Good condition with some surface issues from age.  The front cover has good, clear color.  Cover edges have some small wear spots here and there and there is a short tear near the middle of the lower edge of the front cover.  The outer corners of the back cover are slightly bumped, there is a crease line near the upper corner and a odd, narrow tan line running from top to bottom through the Ls of "Bellison."  The front cover has bends at each outer corner with a tear across the lower corner tip.  The first several pages also have bumped corners matching the cover issue.  By page 23, the corners are fine.  The spine is in very good condition and the binding is snug.  There is a name written in the upper corner of the front cover.  The pages of this book are in Very Good condition.  The only markings found are two green brackets on page 44.  Otherwise, the music is free of markings, tears and other signs of wear.  This book is complete and a great collection of material.
