When slightly slammed(on to a surface) the plush does make noise. BUT due to the sound of it amd the timing of how much it stays and sounds static- like, I'd have to say that the batteries are most likely drained/dying.

The noise is beard but subtle.  Not sure what it should sound like but it sounds like some ps1 game like sfx gurgle noise - or like a walkie talkie being recorded if that makes any sense. Or a car being started but now battery just the sound of the starter... is what it sounds like the most as I continue writing.

By the time it is sold, it may not have any sound and will require a change of batteries .
