For auction is this used pair of Le Chameau Alezan rubber riding boots. They are a UK size 7 (Euro 41). They are suitable for general riding and yard work. With a bit of effort and polish, they should also pass muster for shows or hunting.

The linings are cotton and remain quite clean, even though the boots are used.

Please note that they are a narrow fit - maximum calf circumference is 32cm over breeches - so you will need to have very slim legs in order to fit inside these!

Le Chameau's rubber riding boots have usually been a rare sight in the UK, partly because they were significantly more expensive (more than double the cost) than their market rivals when new. Up to the early 2000s, they were marketed and distributed in the UK by Bestboots, the hunting specialists, but have disappeared since then.

You can still buy these new in France, but they are the equivalent of £200 a pair nowadays, and more if you opt for the leather-lined version.
