Up for sale without reserve is an original box that measures 1-1/2" deep x 6-1/4" x 8" made by The Largest Pencil Factory In The World / Eagle Pencil Company / New York, U.S.A. / London, Eng. This box originally held according to an end panel that reads Half Gross of #174 Grade 2 Eagle Mikado Pencils / Eagle Pencil Co. New York U.S.A. Colors on this original box are vibrant on some panels and washed out and faded on other panels as you will be able to see in my pictures. Sadly this box is no longer full but there is two individual full boxes of 12 yellow No. 2 pencils and one individual box of 9 yellow No. 2 pencils. That's a total of 33 pencils remaining in the 3 boxes. The pencils are 7-1/2" long with white lettering that reads Eagle Pencil Co. N.Y. U.S.A. (Eagle Logo) Eagle MIKADO - 174 - No. 2. These boxes and pencils are in absolutely excellent condition with only light surface scuffing. Picture is part of the description.
