Antique Silver Needle Case

French Hallmarks * Circa 1890-1900

This little antique silver needle case is embossed with an elegant paneled design featuring acanthus leaves and floral wreaths. It would have been part of a set of silver sewing tools with matching designs.

It is stamped with the French boar's head for 800/1000 pure silver. It also has the maker's mark for Paul Frey. He worked at 14 rue de Richelieu in Paris from 1890. The condition is excellent with no dents, splits or other damage and it closes snugly. It measures 2 3/4" long.

I stand behind everything that I offer and guarantee that it is exactly as presented.
