Description
Offered is an antique Hampden pocket watch with a Dueber coin silver case. The open face watch was made in Canton, Ohio, and has a serial number of 892829 which dates it to ca. 1890. The size 18 watch has Roman numerals, a beveled glass crystal and a seconds hand. It has smaller Arabic numbers below the Roman numerals which mark the second 12 hours of the day. It is marked with the company name on the dial and also on the movement. The number of jewels is not listed.
The watch is in very good condition--it runs but has not been timed, the dial has no discoloring or color losses, the case has no dents and the hinges are very good.
