Volume 2 starts at page 281 "The Barn Owl" until 512 (The Little Bustard) - a woodcut at least every other page. clean and in good order, with bound in 6 pages of blank paper ot the rear.
Volume 3 + index - starts at page 513 (MacQueen's Bustard and onto Wilsons Petrel page 739 (this the last of the listed birds also at least every other page has a woodcut, also up to 736 an appendix . + 7pp blank line paper bound in with then index 737pp - 754pp, + double page maps of British Isles and surrounding seas + Europe + North Polar Chart + 26 pages of blank lined 19th century paper.
Half green leather and cloth binding over boards with flat spine and titles etc in gilt to the faux panels. Clean throughout both volumes with a stamp of "Bibl B M De Angelis Princethorpe" to the front end paper. no stamps through the book.
