We've had this about 60 years. Was in the rec room with other war and western stuff. Well cared for. Lemon oiled twice yearly. I think mom had this made into a seat/foot stool. We have another very large barrel that sits on its end with a black seat. The padding is similar in style to other cushions she had made also. The barrel seat just sits on the frame not attached. Nobody has sat on this for probably 30 years now. You can see some tight cracks and various dings. This is an antique that worked hard. Some chipping of metal paint see pics. The two outer bands have slight play 1" or less. The seat is not removable unless you take it apart. The second picture is closest to actual color, a medium camel color. If you need more pics or have questions let me know. I am charging a flat rate shipping to the Contiguous US only on this item due to size and weight. Measures 25" inches long, 15" tall and about 12" wide. Heavy, I'd say 15-18 pounds.

I want to let everyone know I appreciate your looking at my items. I am not an expert but have grown up since a very young age around flea markets antique stores and such. We worked flea markets from Michigan to Ohio to Shipshewana. And antique stores from Michigan to Florida. 99% of the items I'm selling are from my family's private collection of over 60 years or my father's used book and record store. I will always try to give accurate descriptions with as much detail as I can see, but my eyes are a little old and tired now. If at any time I miss a flaw please let me know so I can correct the mistake. I ship with great care and proper insurance. Also of note if the shipping cost is grossly inflated I do refund the buyer handling charges are extremely low. Thanks again and I hope you enjoy the items as much as we have.
