INS-1 is a glow discharge indicator with a cold cathode and is a gas-filled device designed to indicate voltage in AC and DC circuits in widely used devices. Indication is carried out through the lens dome of the cylinder. Flexible leads allow the device to be mounted in bulk or on a printed circuit board.
