This is a genuine top quality CBS locking petrol cap complete with two keys to fit --- Ford Cortina Mk3 all models 1970-76, Mk4 all models 1976-79, Cortina 80 all models 1979 on, Cortina Mk5 1979 on, Capri 11 all models 1974-78, Capri 111 all models  1978 on. Manufactured many years ago - may have slight marks from manufacture.
WAS KNOWN AS THE SAFE ONE --- WHY ?

SAFETY against fuel spillage; in the event of overflowing or a vehicle turning over
( conforming to EEC Regulations ).
SAFETY from water contamination; rain or car wash liquid cannot seep into the fuel tank through the cap.
SAFETY against fuel vapour locks; which causes poor performance and the possibility of fuel tank implosion/explosion.
SAFETY against hand abrasion; no need to twist the cap on or off, just one turn of the key locks and unlocks the cap. ( Perfect for those awkward, confined filler neck areas ).
SAFETY against corrosion; all vital parts are corrosion resistant, especially the stainless steel cap shroud.
SAFETY against external obstructions; when fitted to vehicles with flush body line fuel tank filler necks.
