Overview

This is a highly versatile cable, suitable for producing custom balanced mono audio cables, such as those commonly used by guitars or microphones, or stereo cables used commonly in interconnecting audio equipment such as amps, sound cards and headphones.

The cable can be connected with XLR or 6.35/3.5mm jack connectors by soldering, so you can produce XLR microphone leads, 6.35mm jack instrument leads, 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio leads or any combination of those that you could want. ThatCable supply a range of suitable connectors, and soldering kits, so you can produce a cable to your own exact specifications and length.

Technical Information

OFC (oxygen free copper) - increases signal quality across the length of the cable.

Suitable for balanced connections (i.e. pin 1 to pin 1, pin 2 to pin 2 etc) - increases quality of audio transmission by cancelling out noise between two cores.

Super-durable PVC outer sheath makes this cable extremely resistant to breakage that may be caused by bending or twisting and so will stand up to heavy use.

Cable is supplied in lengths of 50 or 100m, so would be ideal for longer cables, for example connecting studio to recording room, DI unit to mixer etc.

Its small diameter and high signal and build quality makes this cable especially good for use in densely connected setups such as live audio systems or as part of a custom multicore cable.
