Overview - In busy areas such as lobbies, receptions or offices, it is dangerous to have cables trailing across the floor, presenting tripping hazards and causing unwanted clutter. Similarly, in a carefully laid out room, extension cables or conduits can be unsightly.This floor socket can solve this problem by allowing you to run mains-powered equipment from wherever is most convenient.
This outlet is ideal for placing away from a wall underneath a table or desk, in order to power electrical applications without the use of long, ungainly extension leads.
Low Profile Design - Can be flush fitted into most flooring, causing no protrusion when not in use, reducing the risk of tripping or damage to the socket.
Robust Steel Enclosure - This plug has a steel enclosure that will not dent or buckle under the weight of regular treading as well as a spring loaded steel flap that covers and protects the outlet, preventing any direct damage to electrical components or dust and dirt entering the socket when not in use.
How To Use - Cable can be inserted under floors usually in conduit to the location of the where the floor socket is required, a standard metal back box should then be fitted to the floor that has a depth of 35mm or greater.
