Overview - This back box allows two 1 gang face plates to be mounted side by side neatly. Back boxes are used behind face plates, they allow the face plates to be screwed and secured flush to a wall. This back box should be used with a plasterboarded stud wall, the clips at the side of the back box should be pushed out and hold it in position when the face plate is screwed on. Common face plates which may be used with a back box are light switches, plug sockets, modular systems, etc. Different face plates require different depth back boxes, we stock a full selection.
