This is a 7 pound 1.6 ounce rough piece of Russian picture rock  Scarn or  Skarn measuring ~9” x 4” x 2.5”.    This came out of Russia in the 1970's.   We were fortunate to get it from the original buyer  here.  Another metasomatic rock from Russia, a banded material that depending on the piece looks like green or blue green bands.  The green bands are Datolite.  We haven't yet cut any cabochons or picture slabs from this material yet but the ones I've seen are beautifully banded depending on the angle of the cut through the rough.  

 

We COMBINE SHIP in USPS boxes 5.50$ small flat rate 11$ (~15-20 lbs) medium flat rate or 15$ (larger flat rate).  For International customers there is a small flat rate box available for 12$ to Canada/Mexico and 14$ Worldwide and the medium flat rate box (<20 pounds) for $27 to Canada/Mexico and 44$ Worldwide
