The Rider evolved from the Custom style, taking advantage of a new production process that allows to mount cylinder lenses for the perfect vision in all directions. A pivoting for design allows the goggles to be easily worn over the helmet without compromising contact on the riders face and elastic strap with an anti-slip strip will ensure the strap does not move on the helmet.

Metal frame is guaranteed to resist impacts and is suitable for all weather conditions.

LENSES OPTIONS:

Clear Antifog: colourless polycarbonate lenses. CAT 0

Grey Antifog: suitable for frequent use in medium-strong light conditions. The same light rays quality on all the wave length filtered. Accurate colours distinction. 100% UV rays proof. CAT 2

Silver Mirror: high protection lens for direct sunlight. Mirror treatment to reduce light brightness where stronger. 100% UV rays proof. CAT 2

Cylindrical lenses that are crafted from the highest quality scratch-proof polycarbonate. The strong light lenses provide a high definition view and ultimate optical comfort without distortions. The lenses offer 100% UV protection.

Designed for durability and high resistance performance in all weather conditions.

LEATHER SUPPORT

The padded support is lined with genuine leather for a comfortable fit. Similar wear-resistant leather is used on the exterior covering for superior wind and water protection.

SAFETY

A distortion-proof plastic plate is installed under the central bridge of the goggles to protect the riders nose.

FORK AND ELASTIC BAND

Pivoting forks permits the goggles to be worn over a helmet without compromising contact on the riders face. An adjustable length elastic strap with an anti-slip strip will ensure the strap does not move on the helmet.

An Italian history

“Our story is one of Italian accomplishment, devotion and dedication. It prompted the automotive and motorcycle aficionado Giorgio Nannini to create in his laboratory specialized and innovative eyewear for driving both antique and modern cars. The idea came about from passion and a need that he shrewdly perceived and resulted in the first Nannini eyewear, which was expertly made by hand to create something new and extraordinary.

The idea of specialized indestructible eyewear ideal for different sports came out of a chance encounter with a Bugatti racing car drivers in 1958.In 1962, another happy coincidence led Nannini onto his most ambitious project: the thinnest eyewear in the world, eyewear that was practical and easy to carry around. This is how Compact, the Italian and international prize-winning eyewear line, was born.

In 1972, production started on a large scale (meticulously Made in Italy, as it still is today) with the purchase of specially designed machinery to make glasses with lenses. However, it was not until 1976, after an innovative and successful sales campaign which included talking in-store displays (a first in the industry), that the name became what it is today: well-known and appreciated world-wide, with immediate brand recognition. International market growth led to much recognition and resulted in the honour of a special exhibition for the eyewear being hosted at the MOMA in New York: "Ingenious and Unique Eyewear in the World”.

We still hold to the same values that prompted Giorgio Nannini to start out on his fantastic adventure: passion, craftsmanship and quality that is diligently Made in Italy.”
