Tradition states that such leaves bring good Luck to their finders, especially if found accidentally. Each of the four leaves represent something: faith, hope, love, and luck. Extremely rare, it is estimated there are 10,000 three-leaf clovers for each four-leaf clover.
About The Art of Coin Cutting This coin is handcrafted using only jewelers tools, a steady-guided hand, focused eye and patient cutting by a skilled coin-cutter. No laser-cutting machine was used! Coins have been use as jewelry for centuries, and 'coin piercing' as some may call it, is one of those crafts that involves piercing -- or cutting away -- a portion of the coin surface, leaving part of the design. First, one or more holes are drilled through the surface of the coin, then using a fine-tooth jewelers blade, it is threaded through one hole at a time; the blade is guided around the coin design (or the shape you want to cut, such as a four-leaf clover), removing part of the coin. |
