1 Metre DVI-D To DVI-D Male Dual Link Video Cable
Can be used with? - Our cable works with all digital devices that have DVI-I or DVI-D dual link outputs and inputs. This information can usually be found in the manual that comes with your equipment, we have also put some line drawings on our picture above to make it easier to distinguish. Examples of equipment that use this lead are; LCD monitors used with computers. Some HDTVs, Graphics cards and projectors. Please remember that DVI cables don’t transfer audio signals. If you want sound, you will require an audio cable. If you are unsure which cable you require, please ask!

High Density Shield - High density shield consisting of a 100% aluminum foil and braid. The dielectric and the braid are supple, yet maintain integrity even after bending and flexing.
Moulded Connectors with Strain Relief - Solid metal, 24k gold plated, corrosion resistant, DVI connectors are used with this cable.
This cable is Dual Link (sometimes referred to as DVI-DL), not Single Link – Dual link transfers data at speeds of up to 9.96gbit/s. The DVI connector is dual link because there are 24 pins present. On single link transfer there are 6 fewer pins therefore the transfer rate is reduced to half the dual link rate.
DVI lead supports following resolutions – The lead works with all specifications of monitor, even those greater than 1080p!
Example display modes (dual link):
- QXGA (2048 × 1536) @ 75 Hz with GTF blanking (2×170 MHz)
- HDTV (1920 × 1080) @ 85 Hz with GTF blanking (2×126 MHz)
- WQXGA (2560 × 1600) @ 60 Hz with GTF blanking (2x174 MHz) (30" Apple, Dell, HP, Quinux, and Samsung LCDs)
- WQUXGA (3840 × 2400) @ 33 Hz with GTF blanking (2x159 MHz)
