Each model is supplied with high-quality replaceable filter sponges included, complete with suctions caps for attaching to the side of your tank and English instructions.

In making your filter choice the general rule of thumb is to filter the total capacity of your aquarium 4 times an hour. This is a general rule as you may require a larger filter if your tank is heavily stocked or you keep the type of fish which produce more waste. To aid the cleanliness of your water, always remove uneaten food, and clean the filter sponge regularly in tank water only (NOT by running under the tap).

Delivery for smaller items can be upgraded to Royal Mail 1st Class £3.95 however we are reliant on Royal mail so cannot absolutely guarantee orders will arrive next day. Scottish Highlands and UK Offshore Deliveries: For orders where the total weight does not exceed 4kg we are able to offer Free delivery to these areas. Goods will be dispatched by Royal Mail Second Class. Orders where the weight is above 4kg will have to be sent by courier at an additional charge, so please call before ordering to confirm what the charge will be. Any extra postage charge will need to be paid by debit/credit card over the telephone. Order Cancellation/Changes: Once an order has been placed it will be processed immediately to meet eBay's stringent dispatch times. This means that we cannot prevent it from being dispatched, or amend the delivery address, or change the quantity or item being ordered, as it will be in the couriers system and inaccessible to us. This means if you wish to cancel the order you will need to send the goods back to us, after obtaining a Returns Authorisation Number. Return Unwanted Items: We recommend that you return products by recorded delivery or by a carrier that requires a signature. Kettering Koi & ponds Ltd., accepts no responsibility for goods returned to us that are not received unless signed proof of delivery can be provided. On safe return of the product the purchase price of the goods will be refunded. The item must be returned unused, in all original packaging to obtain a refund.Please note that where attempted delivery has been made and you have not been either:A) In to receive the deliveryB) Not collected from the courier or rearranged deliverythen we have incurred extra costs from the courier and the equivalent of these will be deducted from any refund to cover administration and re-stocking fees. It is vital that you have given us a valid email address at the point of ordering so that you receive tracking information. Damaged Goods: Damages or shortages must be notified to Kettering Koi & Ponds within 24 hours of receipt, either by eBay messaging system, email or telephone. Any claims after this timescale may not be entertained.
Provided you have supplied us with either a correct email address or a valid mobile telephone number, you will have been sent tracking details by the courier. Please check these details online on the courier company's site, before contacting us. By doing this you will either be able to rearrange delivery on a more convenient date, or collect from the local depot. This must be done without delay or the courier will return the item to us after a few days.
If the item is showing as delivered but you have not received it, please contact the courier company to obtain further details on where the item is, and check the delivery address and postcode is correct.
Please note that Royal Mail do not consider a parcel to be lost until 15 working days have elapsed since the delivery due date.

Warranty If you have received incorrect or damaged goods, or wish to return unwanted goods please see our Returns or Non Receipt Tabs The Kettering Koi & Ponds Ltd., guarantee is in addition to and does not affect your statutory rights. The guarantee is available to the original purchaser only when accompanied with the original receipt. This guarantee is non transferable. The guarantee applies to the product only and does not cover any consequential losses. The guarantee applies to material and manufacturing defects only, under normal domestic use in the United Kingdom. The guarantee does not cover faults caused by factors outside the manufacturers control, including failure to follow the user guide and maintenance instructions, normal wear and tear, accidental or wilful misuse of the product, inappropriate storage methods and or inappropriate cleaning, modification or alteration of the product. The guarantee does not cover parts subject to normal wear and tear, for example pump impellers, filter sponges, air pump diaphragms, batteries etc. The guarantee does not cover glass items, for example aquarium heaters, uv quartz tubes and uv bulbs. The guarantee does not cover return postage costs for items over 6 months old. Items offered Free are sent out as gifts to the customer and as such will not be covered by a guarantee. The guarantee does not cover maintenance issues including the replacement of wearable parts. Pond pumps and filters will require maintaining and cleaning over their lifetime. If you live in a hard water area it may be necessary to clean these items with a suitable lime scale remover (we recommend Superfish Pump Clean). Lime scale will cause undue wear and damage to pumps and filters, and therefore the guarantee will be voided if returned items are affected by this problem. Should an item develop a fault within its guarantee period, it may be sent back to Kettering Koi & Ponds Ltd., for repair or replacement, or taken to our warehouse with your purchase receipt. If returning by carrier or post you must obtain a Returns Authorisation Number from us and enclose that information with the product. Repairs or replacement under the guarantee will be carried out as quickly as possible however you should allow up to 30 days for this. Faulty items will be tested and if a claim is made under this guarantee and the defect is not due to faulty materials or manufacture, or the product is found to be in working order, Kettering Koi & Ponds Ltd will return the product to the customer. The customer will be responsible for all postage costs. These include the cost of sending the item back to us in the first instant, plus a £15 fee to cover the engineer's time and the return carriage to the customer. If after 14 days the customer makes no arrangement or payment for the return of non-faulty products they will incur storage charges at the rate of £5.00 per week until we receive instructions for either the return or authorization to dispose of the product under the WEE regulations.
