This is a new Japanese Ikebana flower arranging round metal frog called a Kenzan (or Kensan). It measures 1.56 inches in diameter at the base (40mm) and 0.7 inches high (almost 18mm). Used in a ceramic vase or an Ikebana vessel, the stems of the flowers would be inserted into the exposed prongs and anchored in place by the weight of the Kenzan.

It is brand new and the condition is excellent.
