This was an early story influenced by the Edgar Rice Burroughs John Carter novels as the main character uses astral projection (explained in detail) to travel to the planet Palos where he occupies the body of a man who has died and then establishes himself as a major figure on the world by bringing modern technology to the primitive society, and wins a princess in the process. A significant early science fiction novel which was reprinted in a heavily edited version in hardcover by Avalon in the 1960s (but never in any paperback form other than in the pulps). There were a total of three novels in this series and I'm offering reprints of all three.
