This work is famous ceramist Ten Cho-Zan-GAMA kiln 8thKANETA MASANAO of Hagi ware.

         

KANETA MASANAO which continues the original work using "Hollow-technique" in HAGI.

         

"KURINUKI" is hollowed the clay which had struck and hardened the clayey lump with the board, and molding clay.

         

He has the career of having studied carving and clay sculpture in school days.

         

With his work, the exciting form which makes the ridgeline of a mountain consider serves as the maximum charm.

         

YOHEN (deformation during firing) and glaze with a beautiful lavender color, and its peculiar form match very beautifully.

         

He is a ceramist who represents the present age ceramic art community which reclaims a new fresh ground with the place where historied CHATOU-HAGI (tea ceremony pottery Hagi ware) was produced.

         

The work bottom is engraved with the scratch signature of Mr. KANETA.

         

The paulownia-wood storage box in which a ceramist's autograph signature was written, the sealed cloth, and the guide in which Mr. Kaneta's history was written are attached to this work.

         

The paulownia-wood storage box attached to this work is a high-class SHIHO-ZAN paulownia-wood storage box for exclusive use made from the special order according to this work.

         

The autograph signature of Mr. KANETA is written to the attached storage box.

         

This work is a very good condition also without a crack and a chip in a new article.
