This historical "Making History" womens designer sewing pattern by historic clothing specialist Nancy Farris-Thee is new, uncut and complete with original factory folds. These early 19th century costumes made with the pattern pieces and instructions inside this envelope are for period dresses circa 1795-1825.  Dress A has a train and would be appropriate as a bridal gown. It is classified as "average" sewing difficulty.

The pullover dress has drawstring neckline, underlined/lined bodice, side back seams, back hook and eye, and slit closing. Dress A has inset, inside tie and sleeve bands. Dress B has a semi-fitted bodice with overlay, casing and continuous bias binding. The jacket has collar, front pleats, side back seams, band and cuffs. The jacket and bodice A are loose-fitting. The purse has foldover flap, button loop closing and hand embroidery. All are lined. The hat trim has pleated tie ends, bow and knot. Purchased trim: dress A, drawstrings A & B, cording for lining A and Hat E.

Body measurements for this pattern are sizes 14: bust 36, waist 28" and hip 38"; 16: bust 38, waist 30" and hip 40"; 18: bust 40, waist 32" and hip 42"; 20: bust 42, waist 34" and hip 44"; and 22: bust 44, waist 37" and hip 46".
