Because of their smaller diameter, vertical panel raising bits require less horsepower and can be run at higher speeds than their horizontal counterparts. A vertical bit takes a much smaller "bite" out of the stock so your router won't get bogged down in the middle of a cut. We offer vertical panel raising bits with 1/2" & 1/4” shanks. Choose the larger shank diameter if your router collet will accept it.
