Eagle A3 6-Axis RC Fixed-Wing Airplane Gyro Flight Stabilization Controller

The Eagle A3 Airplane gyro is the avanced version of our A3-L gyro with an integrated high precision 6-axis (3 gyro + 3 accelerometers) MEMS sensor. The main advantage of a six axis gyro is that it will provide smooth and stable flight in less than ideal flying conditions, AND it will also return your aircraft to upright, level flight at the flip of a switch (Auto-Recovery System). It's like having a panic button should you lose orientation of your plane or find yourself unable to control your aircraft. In addition to the advanced Auto-Recovery System, the A3 also includes an Auto-Hover mode which will put your 3D capable aircraft into a perfect vertical hover at the flip of a switch. Other features include a light-weight protective shell, updated v2.7 logic software, remote master gain control, and automatic gyro calibration at start-up. The A3 supports both analog and digital servos and provides separate gain adjustments for each flight mode. All functions of the Eagle A3 are easy to setup via a simple on-board button and indicator LED. If you are looking for a feature packed six axis gyro at an incredible value, look no further than the Eagle A3.

Features:
- Works with all major receiver brands including Spektrum, Futaba, Hitec, JR, Tactic, and more.
- 4 Pre-programmed flight Modes:
    1. Normal Mode (2D Mode): this is the standard flight stabilization mode found on most airplane gyros.
    2. Auto-Recovery Mode (also called Auto Balance Mode): this mode will automatically "right" or balance your aircraft if you lose orientation or if the aircaft becomes inverted. This functionality is similar to Spektrum's SAFE technology.
3.Auto-Hover Mode: this mode will hold the airplane in a perfect hover (nose pointed towards the sky) on 3D capable aircraft.
    4. Gyro Deactivated Mode: this turns the gyro off to allow unassisted/non-stablized flight.
- 3 Wing Types: Normal Airplane, Flying-wing (Delta-wing) and V-tail.
- One-key setting mode with colored LED indicator light
- Remote Master Gain
- Supports 50Hz, 125Hz, and 250Hz Servo Frequencies
- Separate gain adjustment for each flight mode
- Automatic gyro calibration (auto stick centering) at start-up
- High Voltage (7.4v) compatible
- Futaba S.Bus and S.Bus 2 compatible
- Easy to use, extremely well-suited to beginners.
- Small, lightweight form-factor

One-click Hover and Auto-hover

A new flight mode called Auto-hover was added to the new A3. When operating in this mode, the self-balance ability will be applied to both elevator and rudder. The plane can hold its hover attitude without any control except for the throttle.

After switching to auto-hover flight mode, you only need to control the throttle to maintain enough pulling force for the plane. This mode can be used to reduce the difficulty of hover practice.

Auto-Recovery / Auto-Balance Level Flight

The auto-balance mode is designed especially for beginners or FPV applications. When operating it in this mode, the controller will help the plane achieve level flight automatically. It can also be used to recover the plane from any other attitudes, or help to achieve a stable takeoff and landing.

Wiring

The new A3 series provides 5-channel inputs and 3-channel outputs. You only need to connect the receiver and servos to the corresponding pins on the side of the controller. The knobs are used to adjust the gain for each flight mode, clockwise to increase, anti-clockwise to decrease. Futaba's S.Bus and S.Bus 2 are supported by the new A3 series.
