A fine delightful oil on canvas which dates to the late 17th century circa 1670.  Formerly attributed to Claude Lorraine when it was sold in 1919 from the estate of Lady Wilke it is in Dutch Baroque landscape tradition and circle Adam Pynacker.

Provenance. Purchased from the estate of Lady Wilke in 1919 as by Claude Lorraine.

Condition. Oil on canvas, 14 inches by 12 inches, in very good condition. 

Frame. Fine period carved gallery frame 20 inches by 18 inches with gallery label verso.
