This 54th cover depicts the 50th Anniversary of the Battle of the Barents Sea on December 31, 1942. The cover is double cancelled and the red cancellation is from Majuro proper on December 31, 1992, 50 years after the battle. The cover bears two 29 cent "Battle of Barents Sea 1942" stamps. The creator of the cover is a member of the American Philatelic Society. This is a unique cover to own and one of a limited edition.
