Now to some descriptions.Brazil Santos:
Being the world’s largest coffee provider, Brazil has quite a reputation.
Their coffees are quite complex and Brazil Santos is no exception.
They say it has a slightly bourbon taste.
I have found it to have a mild acidity, and great all-round coffee.
Colombia Excelso:
The Excelso coffee beans are smaller than their Supremo counter-part, but they are most certainly not of a lower quality.
Except a mixture of large, flat beans and some peaberries mixed in.
Colombia Excelso is somewhat more acidic than Supremo, offering a more citrusy flavour.
Costa Rica SHB:
Costa Rica is a standard quality bean that shows a citrus flavour, with many fruity notes.
It is a classic flavour that can be recognised as the staple taste of decent coffee.
Enjoyable cup, but heavy on acidity.
Colombia Supremo:
These beans are, as the name indicates, of a high quality.
Visually, they have a very perfect shape, and large size.
You cannot go wrong with these balanced coffee beans.
Expect a medium body with sweet after taste.
Ethiopia Djimmah:
These African beans are known for their zing.
One of the most popular coffees from Africa, it has a very full bodied experience.
I find it has a dark chocolate flavour with a wine-like after taste.
Guatemala SHB:
Guatemala is known for it’s high standard in coffee production.
The beans are a large size, and roast wonderfully.
A more complex cup of coffee with a deep body and excellent flavour.
A must try for all coffee lovers.
Honduras SHG: Honduran coffee is typically a cheaper, lower quality of coffee.
However, the SHG variety is considered to be complex enough to be considered a speciality coffee.
Honduras has mostly been kept as a blender coffee, but now you can try these beans.
They feature a lower price, and resemble some of the higher quality, higher priced Arabica out there.
Soft, fruity taste with a strong citrus finish.
India Monsoon Malabar:
A very popular, smoky coffee with an unusual appearance.
These beans are guaranteed to impress even the fussiest coffee drinker.
We brought them in due to popular demand, and they are one of our best selling origin coffees.
High powered and smoked flavour.
Indonesia Sumatra Mandheling:
This coffee is wet-hulled, which leaves the flavours in this coffee as untouched as possible. Featuring a high moisture content, it gives the coffee a wild, natural taste.
The coffee is not very acidic, and more reminiscent of earthy spices.
Kenya Asali:
Kenya is a pioneer in the coffee trade.
Expect a fruity, wine like taste which really embodies the best of African coffees.
Similar to the Ethiopia, though I would say it is a little more acidic.
Small beans with a unique, wine like flavour.
Mexico El Selecto:
A Central American coffee with bite.
Most of the Arabica coffees coming from CA are quite sharp and acidic.
This is not the case with Mexico El Selecto offering more earthy flavours.
Chocolatey, bold flavour with a decent body to match.
Nicaragua SHG:
Quite similar to the Guatemalan coffee in the sense that it is a more complex cup of coffee. Nicaragua has got a top class reputation for creating chocolatey and nutty tasting coffees.   Medium body, medium acidity, safe choice.
Small beans with a unique, wine like flavour.
Peru MCM:
Coffee with a story! Peru Cecanor is purely farmed and processed by women.
Why? In Peru, women suffer from oppression and inequality.
Peru Cecanor coffee beans gives ladies in Peru a chance to get a job, and acquire an education.
As if that was not reason enough to pick up these beans, they are also fair trade and organic. The coffee is smooth, and features no bitterness.
India Cherry:
Quite a harsh, strong coffee bean.
I would personally recommend this for blending and adding body to coffees that you feel could do with a bit of an extra kick.
When drunk alone, you are overwhelmed with an intense flavour that to most is not easily drunk.
This is why it does better in blends.
The caffeine content is huge, and sure to give you a buzz when drunk alone.
All green coffee is sent in sealed, clear ziplock bags.
Labelled with quantity, expiry, batch number and origin name.
