NASA Marine Clipper Instrument Marine Mounting Pod
The NASA Clipper Instrument POD is designed to mount two CLIPPER Instruments in a single waterproof POD. Two or more POD's can be joined together in different configurations. POD's are supplied with short coaxial extension cables and in line connectors for connection of sensors as and if required. These cables have right angle connectors to fit the slim pod design. Once the instrument configuration is determined you'll need to fit the cable glands supplied as required to feed in sensor and power cables into the POD. Multiple power leads are normally joined together with a screw terminal block. The pod bracket can be fixed in a number of ways. It can be screwed directly to a mast or bulkhead. and once decided the bracket is simply drilled to take your prefered fixings, not supplied. Front cut out max 83mm x 83mm x internal depth 45mm
