Our customers find a variety of uses for their pieces of real sheepskin wool-on-leather hide.  Perfect for lining the inside of Renaissance armor, military gear, backpack pads, medical padding, special projects, padding problem areas, make a new pair of insoles for boots & shoes, relining collars, cuffs, make a hat, gloves, repair slippers, sew purses, headbands, ear-muffs, ANYTHING YOU CAN GLUE, STAPLE, SEW, OR TAPE our versatile sheepskin!

NOTICE you are NOT, NOT, NOT buying the whole hide!  These are belly area pieces only.  They are NOT as thickly wooled as the full hide but for most people these will make very nice padding for where you want to use them.

-Sew them together for a chair or pet bed pad.

-Several customers have used them to pad braces and limb replacements, or suits of armor for re-enactors. Others use them to prevent bed sores.

-I have personally used them to make shoe insoles by tracing the outline of my boots on the leather side and then cutting what I need with a razor knife or sharp scissors.  If you flip your shoe sole pattern over to the toe of one shoe is beside the heel of your other shoe - you may squeeze an extra insole out of the piece!

-Over the winter I used two pieces to make custom sheepskin linings for my plastic Croc shoes!

-Military persons have used our sheepskin to line web gear.

-Other customers have purchased them to repair bomber jackets, hats, and lined their re-enactor gear from the Roman ages thru the medieval days to the more modern civil war and old west living history groups.
